In Greek mythology it is said that Eros, the God of Love, used one of his arrows to cut off a nail of his mother, Venus. After falling to the ground from Mount Olympus, the nail turned into what we call the Black Onyx today.
Carved only with hand tools, especially the tip of a carving knife.
The packaging is recyclable.
The necklaces are handmade, unique and ready to ship.
Black onyx can be worn regardless of the season and occasion, as black always offers elegance with a minimum of effort.
The pendant was first dried and then polished and oiled for added protection (all colors are natural avocado stone).
However, I strongly recommend that you remove it before entering the water, as exposure to moisture can damage it beyond repair. The pith hardens like a piece of wood, but is still delicate so must be handled with care.
