Carnelian is one of the oldest gemstones used as amulets. In ancient Egypt, the carnelian was associated with the goddess Isis, the goddess of magic and marital harmony.

The pendant was first dried and then sanded and oiled for extra protection (all colors are natural avocado).

However, I strongly recommend that you remove it before entering the water, as exposure to moisture can irreparably damage it. The kernel hardens like a piece of wood, but it is still delicate so it must be handled with care.
